Rear lens fell off, any ideas???

The bulb has two filaments in it. One for the break light and one for the running light. Make sure you get one that does both. Failing that, some red cellophane and duck tape will get you where you need to go.

Also, be aware that the bulb without the lens will not be as visible to those behind you. So ride carefully - leave plenty of distance between you and the person behind.

I spoke too soon ...I cannot find the red lens I had I am sure it must be somewhere in the garage but so far no luck

I replaced the whole unit with a LED after somebody crashed in the back of my trailer carrying the bike .

That may be the cheapest/fastest option. One of the chopper shops should have a good selection.
