Rear entry helmet

Just Spoke to Mark Bryant (He's the Boss at Voztec) He says the helmet will be released in early 2014 Globally and are not yet available.
Tri Composite construction top of the range should be around $800. with a view to produce cheaper poly carbonate one 12-18 months later.

I like the idea just a bit of a worry if your unconcious and can't tell first aiders how to remove it. Have visions of someone looking for the chin strap with a stanley knife, giving up and trying to yank it off or give up in disgust get back in there car and drive off.

I like them ,looks like they maybe a little more wind noise resistant. I don't pay that much for helmets might have to wait for the cheaper design

Excellent point Bruce. That aside, I really like the thinking behind it; very ingenious. I guess I'd be a bit concerned about how hot it could get in summer and fogging in winter. I'd be keen to give one a try.

It would be important and interesting to see what the International testing standards throw up for these helmets too. Venting could be an issue as well like Canberra said how durable the hinging mechanism is??
