Hey guys,

just have a question; does the rear axle spacer have an orientation? There are some marks on the center and the service manual makes no reference as to it going a certain way; as long as it is in there. It did fall on me but I placed it back; the Harley does have an orientation so now I'm second guessing myself.

iirc the circumferential grooves were on the inside, closest to the wheel, when my bike was new so I put them back that same way

When I took mine out, I did notice the grooves right in the center. Not sure if anyone else can chime in.

Your good. I had the same problem (use to working on Harley's) I bought a new one awhile back and as Cootertwo said it did not have a groove:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
