Good thing they have a mesh type screen at the foam facing the throttle bodies. I could envision the intake sucking that foam right into the valves/cylinder(s) :shock:

Will, if it sucked it in it would be a massive restriction. The air will rush thru unimpeded if the filter is good.

have you started testing it yet Nev, will it allow as much air as my RX 4040's

What about cleaning the foam filter? Bath it in dishwashing detergent; rinse, squeeze and dry it out? Or is it not reusable?

Ramair do cleaning/recharging kits. The recharging stuff is really gooey. I did not know it was pre-charged foam - so did the prototype when I fitted it (I use ramairs foam as a filter in the 4WD).

does interior a' tri-oval sittin on top a' tb's have any fancy trick mold work inside ?
since bottom plate is molded....wonder why they didn't wedge it ta give straight shot into cylinder ? leg room i guess .
