Yeah but how? If you go more vertical, it's getting bombarded by road crud. If you don't go sufficiently wide, it probably won't flow enough air to cool the engine all that well. An engine the size of the Rocket mill just forces some design compromises I suspect if you prioritize a cool and workable engine even in hot climes. But I may be overly pessimistic.

Yeah, just wondering if the fact that there is no room for air to go right behind the center of the radiator is an issue. As I said, I may well be overly pessimistic, I have no hard data.

As I recall Sam did quite a bit of work on a more aesthetically pleasing radiator a few years back. I believe he was unable to get sufficient cooling while maintaining a more svelte design. Those who know him can speak to his fabrication skills.

You can replace it with Hale Berry and the rocket would still be as ugly as a red headed step child , sorry guys you cannot disguise ugly.
And we love it that way, I am actually wrapped in the cover I have which @hogweed created I think it makes the Radiator look a lot smaller

The radiator seems to be a subject that comes up every time I am asked what the Hell my bike is. In my opinion, if Triumph continues to produce and further develop the R3, the radiator would be the one of the first items that should be considered for redesign.

Yes please! it's got to be the ugliest radiator on any bike produced. They did a nice job on the Tunderbird, why can't they do that with the Rocket. They could make the tank on the Roadster a bit more streamlined as well.

I agree it does stand out. One of the first things I noticed when I saw it for the first time. Call me a newbie, but with only 700 miles on my '14 I love every bit of its massive unique look. Like my Audi, the grill sets it apart from everything else ;)

Your asking a bit to much dude lets work on getting some color back in the paint jobs :) As for Radiators I am sure Richard from TTS will make you his radiator like on the inner-cooler radiator combo set I got from him and weld the mounts on so sits centered on the bike. It holds the same amount of coolant as the OEM one.
