Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ,the two things that first attracted me to the Rocket 3 Touring was the huge Chrome radiator grill and the 3 exhaust header pipes , the things a lot of guys want to change, if you want ugly radiators look at some other liquid cooled bikes ,most of them look like an after thought ,as mentioned previously in this thread the cooling works as designed in hot weather , if it's not broken don't fix it!
my opinion is the same, I love the rad, love the exhaust, and I love the motor too, its nice, big and bold. I suppose if people want a smaller rad....they COULD always get a smaller bike and motor, IMHO.

Well that's good to know. It's quite a bit narrower than the stock unit, but it's been offset to allow for Warp9.9's inter-cooler. Does it have to be offset (to allow proper mounting and hookup of hoses)? Or can it be centered? I assume it is thicker (more cores) to accommodate the necessary cooling capability and coolant capacity.
No the one he posted is different from the one I mentioned. I mentioned the one I gave him for another project he is working on, since I had it spec'd for a 400hp rocket3.

You can talk to Richard and have him make it on center its just a matter of moving the mounts and the filler neck.

something like this is what I was referring to:

Yes please! it's got to be the ugliest radiator on any bike produced. They did a nice job on the Tunderbird, why can't they do that with the Rocket. They could make the tank on the Roadster a bit more streamlined as well.

Because the Thunderbird doesn't have a gargantuan engine block right behind the radiator?

I just picked up one of the Flipmeister radiator grill covers and made the whole thing even more in your face.

And I like the look of my R3T a lot. White walls lifted the whole thing several notches further. Though it looks much better when viewed from the right than the left. Just saw you can get a chrome oil tank... maybe I should get one of those and lighten up the left side some too.
