Great work benny it has taken some of the what's under there mystery away for me , my 2011 R3T has a bit of drive line slack on slow gear changes but so far (23000k) the clutch is fine
thanks for the heads up on the internals of the front cover
Cheers

Thank you Ken.. I appreciate the kind words.

I am currently uploading another which is more towards the removal side of things. Please let me know what you think.

The one thing that I know for sure is after making a few videos in regards to our rockets is that I'm still hopeless at making them..hahaha

Thanks again Ken.. =)

Very helpful video. I know it would have been much easier to do the job without having to video with one hand. Very clear and easy to understand what you are doing. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks R65 and Mitzy.. Very much appreciated.

Finally got part 2 uploaded after 10hrs..haha

This one's a long one and mainly focuses on the removal and replacement of friction plates.. Enjoy guys..

Great videos Benny, I could not add to much except for short cuts to make things quicker. But I will take th etime to speak of soem of the differences I see in your engine. First being you have not had the update kit so I am curious as to the serial number of the engine? The reason I noticed this is because you have the third generation cam chain guide which is replaced in the update kit. Your guide started in the 06 model. Two other things I have noticed is you anti judder spring is in opposite of the three clutches I have seen which were 06, 07, and 2011. What really amazes me is a 08 models with the old style lifter piece, needle bearing and pressure plate. This puzzles me as to how a black 08 engine has this in it. I know some of the 06, and 07 silver engines still had them but was not aware of any black engines with that style. I count myself lucky as I have told guys what to order prior to them taking their bikes apart and none of them have had to go back to Triumph because of having the wrong lifter piece and needle style bearing. The only thing I can say now is one should definetly take the engine apart to make sure they know what style they have.

I hope those who have changed their clutches before chime in on the direction they found their Anti Judder spring installed so we can see if there is any consistancies to the direction. Also even though you have the old style lifter piece installed in your bike it is obviously functioning fine just like many 04's, and 05's are so I am not trying to say you need to change it. I am merely pointing out what I have noticed.

I use the MTC fibers which does not provide a rear fiber with a larger ID to clear the Anti Judder Spring and Seat you merely remove them from the system.

Other then that let me say for a one handed mechanic (and one handed photographer) you are good!!!!
