Taking 10 pieces of chrome to PowderTech Plus Inc. to be powder coated this Saturday. Was told they are on a 2 week time schedule - very excited and can't wait to see the results. Once these come back and I put the bike back together I will have to see what else may need a touch of powder.
If black is fast then my logic says that blacker is faster After the powder coating comes D&D Exhaust w/K&N air filter - also switching out to Avon Cobras Front/Rear. Soon to follow will be a repaint - still working out the color though I am kinda leaning toward some sort of silver/light gray. There is a local bike painter who says he can give it a flat look with a protective covering of some kind so that the paint will hold it's color and look - so I am thinking about that also.
Once you've got your coated parts back you'll discover the only useful thing about having a 'goth' daughter............black nail polish it will become your best friend! Seriously though, you will get chips in the powder over time and a gloss black nail varnish is a pretty perfect match and dries almost immediately
