R3T backrest removal

Hi. I have a R3T and have removed the backrest as it doesn't suit my needs. There is now a hole in the seat where the backrest hardware was located. Does anyone know if there is a part that can be order to fill this hole? Thanks
 
Backrest filler

Yes there is a filler, a black rubber cube with 2 bolt heads on the bottom, for tightening it up.
I just went out to the garage to look at mine and there is no part # on it!

No part number on mine either... But it came with the bike.. Did you buy it new??? If so I would think it should have been with the bike.
 
It comes stock on the long haul seat since the backrest is an additional option. I probably still have my old one if you want it. I can check when I get home. All it is is a rubber/plastic plug.
 
It took me so F#%king long to install mine, the thought of removing it just put me in a cold sweat!
 
I got your pm. I emailed you back. As stated, you can have the thing as I have no need for it (no longer have my Rocket). I even stuck the 2 bolts back in it when I took it off so you'll have those too.
 
So thats where that little rubber thingy goes. It was in my saddle bag when I got the bike. About 1 1/2"x 1" with two little bolts in it. I thought it was a plug to keep the Scot out of her exhaust at night time.
