I need to find out exactly the factory alarm hookup is located and how do I get to it. I am thinking of getting a talon because it's half the price. Thanks
You can't go wrong with the Talon, I have one on the Daytona!!
On the R3T it's a large rectangular block type connector right under the fuel tank!! I believe it's in the right hand harness..
thanks that was what I was fearing I will have to disconect the horn, speakers, and LEDs to do this looks to be an all day job now but for the price I am eager to get it done. Still want a new seat bag rails and light bar that's all for now
Wild,
Keep us posted on this if possible. Im looking into alarms as well and so far I like the talons. They make a plug and play harness for all triumphs. Did you find this wouldnt work well?
it looks like the plug will work out better than using a the cut and splice harness. I just have so many wires running on both sides but it will give me a chance to hide them better

GET THE HARNESS!!! Plug and play hooks everything up and doesn't require any fussing... The Triumph alarm LED is fully functional and the only "wiring" needed is the power and ground..
Ok after having a look at things this will be easy correct me if I am wrong the bear claw stays where it's at when you lift the tank that being the case I don't have to move any of my wires. I can see the connection and touch it from the right side now all I have to do is come up with the money to get it

I can't tell you how the factory alarm sets up. I have an InterNatrix 400. Proximinal alarm audible is "You're in my personal space." and the plain jane stub your toe on the beast and it will SCREECH an ALARM that will wake up the neighborhood! It has an adjustable proximal alarm.

Not sure about the regular Rocket, but the R3T you have to remove the bearclaw (5mm allen in the front) to lift the tank.. There's also a sweet prop rod clipped to the right side under the tank to hold it up while you're working under there!!
