Sounds good, with the Bridgestones, but seems like you would want to go with the same brands on the front and back.

Also,If I let the air go just a little low in the front, it really messes with the handling. Tires are finicky. And make a difference of course..
Opinions? thx,

You don't need same brands just good tires. But both radials I would prefer/ I have heard great things out of the Michelin 140 which with the .400 lift in the back off the bridgy and the slight lowering and narrower tire of the Michelin in the front she will take herself thru the curves with no input from the driver. Don't get me wrong though if youwant to stay big the cobra in the front is great with the Bridgstone. just make sure you get the exedra max not just the regular exedra. I have the cobra on mine but will be trying the Michelin next except on the extra front rim I have I have to go 130 so I can get a ZR rated tire (W) rating for over 186mph) LSR rules

tire sizes?

Whats the biggest rear tire I can put on the bike? Looks to me like there's some extra room for some bigger meat on back. Am I wrong?

The Bridgestone does actually look fatter than Metz or Avon even tough they are all 240. If you want bigger without significant modification you'll need to put a car tyre on - I think 245 is as big as you can fit and you'll need to run it at about 28psi.

Richard???
Never thought I'd see you suggesting a CT.
And you even forgot your one liner. ' you'll get used to it'

I think the BS IS wider because I think it is a ratio, width to profile - or something:confused:

Strangely enough my 245/50 C/T has writing on it that only just touches the shaft tube but the 245/55 still had 1/8 of an inch clearance but it also was a lot softer in the sidewall
