I would expect it to be like an R3 crossed with an MT-01 / GSX1400 / Speed Triple on steroids ...

All good bikes.

If you haven’t ridden an R3, you have nothing to compare it to... can’t be described .. so ... this is all just ... ????? ... :-/

I wonder if, given it seems you have already bought a rare new .. exxxy $$ bike, have come on here just to big note ?

Why ask normal average people’s advice / opinion, who don’t own, if you have bought already?

Makes no sense to me .....
I wld ask questions prior, if the bike was already out and owned ..

So I think, go ride huge bikes .. you will then have an idea .. and can then report back to those of us who will scarcely ride, or even see... new R3, eh ?

Fair points, certainly not bragging, I always join the forum for the bike when buying.
I have not ridden a big cruiser type bike and was seeking advice from people that may have had a similar biking experience.
I understand no one has ridden the tfc but I can’t imagine the current R3 to be hugely different.
I brought the launch explorer model when it came out and it was an awesome bike so I’m hoping the r3 will be as good an experience but obviously completely different.
I will look through the posts and of course ride one to understand how a big bike handles in comparison.

The bike will be good, there's no question. Triumph haven't released a bike that didn't feel good as delivered in the last 10 years.

They have a signature feel regarding handling. Ride a new Street Triple if you don't know the Triumph feel. It's a good feel that's confidence inspiring.

Welcome and enjoy.... The Roadster 2012 model goes and handles just fine...………..

Just my 2 Bolivars worth . . .
When purchased in 2012, my 2012 R3R was at 0 miles & was matte black as well. 65,000 miles later, I still thrill ti ride "Kong".
For such a large bike, it handles OK. I know the Goldwings handle better. BUT, the Roadster can be easily made to handle much better.
For a hard rider, who has grown old and can no longer bend his body around a hot sport bike all day, I've found nothing better!
