R3 tank pads

Is there just one tank knee pad? There can't be one for the left side?

Is that a worthwhile accessory? Look ok? Might save the paint over time, and easier on the knees I guess.

Dont have them myself , not too keen on the look .
But would protect paintwork from rubbing .

trading a Bonne America for an 2007 R3

I am doing the same, for I am trading a Bonne America for an 2007 R3 next month. I think I have a need for speed. :mrgreen:

Have the knee pad, cause I also tend to rub the tank with my knees... Nice looking as well... I don't have the top of tank pad though cause it hides the tribal design...

my knees are no way near tank , I use the splayed wide open position :shock: :lol:

I put them on as mostly-decorative, but I do find my right knee against the pad frequently (probably saving a little scuff on the paint). The left one is purely for decoration and balancing the look. Had them on my '05 America, so I did it again - could have gone either way.

Is there a pic of the left side somewhere? Sounds like there worth getting.
