R3 tank pads

R3 knee pads

Got the knee pads and they look nice and should help protect the paint some. The Dealer said its not a bad Idea to put extra adhesive on as the pad might loose its stickyness. Has any one just stuck them on and had them stay on? They seemed pretty sticky so I just stuck them on.
I put mine on a little lower toward the seat than the previous picture shows.

Different strokes for different folks.
Tried them for 6 months, but the left hand one kept coming loose and catching on my leg as I got on the bike.
Didn't feel comfortable with putting extra glue on in case I buggered the paint, so in the end I ripped the bloody things off & have just sold them on e-bay.
