R3 metal panneir rails - straighten saddle bags?

Are the metal horizontal pannier rails that mount on the Triumph Rocket 3's saddle bags easy to mount? Do they help straighten out the bags so they sit more evenly, - take some of the sag out of the bags? They seem too look pretty nice.

Yes they are easy to mount. I think you have to remove the saddlebags though first to get at one or two of the screws. I took mine off a long time ago and then installed the Flipmeister stiffeners which worked pretty well.

If you consistently put a lot of stuff in the bags though, the rails will leave an impression in the bags, which is why I removed mine.

yep you gotta have the bags off to install the rails. And again, Yes the flipmeisters bag stiffeners work wonders. my bags were trash till I put the stiffeners in them, now they're good again.xhdskip
