Question about riding with the wrong tune

So I have some D&D pipes on my 08 Touring with the K&N drop-in filter. Would it be OK or DAMAGING to my engine if I put on the stock pipes at home and rode 15 miles to the dealer to have it re-flashed?

I know it'll run funny but that's fine, it's not too far. I just don't want to cause any real problems. Thanks in advance.

No worries. It'll be running rich. Extended use might foul the plugs, but not in 15 miles.

It will be okay for that, but consider getting TuneBoy or TuneECU so you can do those things yourself, plus a bunch of other really good stuff.

It sure won't be running rich. The factory TORS map is still very lean. Try the TuneECU map in the "R3T Derestricted" thread that I have have posted.
