Should correct the title of the thread. It's 185 Kph, not MPH which, as Lupe correctly points out, is just under 115 MPH - a speed which, I believe, many of us here attain on a regular basis.
Actually i got caught 3 years ago, i was doing 110 but i saw him from far away and he clocked me foing "only" 99, i tried the no habla Ingles trick but it didn't work, had to listen to the judge ***** at me and had to pay $600 fine

It wasn't on a bike, but I was "caught" going 85 (by radar) in my 1972 Chevy Nova SS. Funny part was my (120 MPH) speedo was pegged.
Don't know actually how fast I was going but it was probably around 110ish MPH. Definitely was not 85.
I didn't argue with the cop. Just accepted the ticket....smiled and went on my merry way.
I very rarely hit 185 km/h, primarily because I don't enjoy brutalizing the speed limit by a factor of 2 but also because plowing into deer at that speed will turn you into hamburger. The jailtime if caught isn't all that appealing either. But yeah, been younger and dumber as well.
