About a year ago I cut the wires to the parking lights to lighten the load on the ignition switch. Might have reduced it by 5 or 10%. Probably a waste of time, but have not had ignition switch problems. Yet, anyway.
Only took about 15 minutes to cut the white wires to the parking lights that stay lit all of the time. I never actually use the parking lights.
