Ok going for the PC 111 to eliminate popping on deceleration ( Tors/& Bypass) but after it is installed will it screw up the the ECU Triumph download idle for Recall #386 ??

Has anyone done the #386 recall with the PC111 installed and if so how does it idle/run?

Thanks

Got it backwards 'Brah! Any big change in CPU tune will have an effect on your overall fuel curve in the PC3. If your PC3 is dyno tuned a new CPU tune will make that PC3 tune worthless.

Did you set the PC3 tune yourself?

Jeep,

Yes what Miami said.

I've had a PCIII install since new. but only did a self adjustment to the PCIII map which came with the unit (bypass & aftermarket map if I remember) decel pops completly went away with my TORS

The last recall fixed my loping idle issues at the end of last year, but it didn't seem to change the feel of how my bike accellerates.

This 386 recall may or may not affect anything.. depends if they change any base fuel map settings in the ECU (know that the PCIII is an overlay +- adjustment to the existing fuel map in the ECU), however I've been only doing seat of the pants adjustments to the fuel tables for now

Good Luck

Ok thanks guys ,see if I have this right.

I currently just had the #386 done to my bike wihch has the Tors&Bypass and the bike seems to idle quite well.

My next step is to install the PC3 to elliminate the popping. I will just use the canned PC3 download software map that comes with the unit that you download from their site.

This seems to be the same set up that Chrispy294ss has except that he uses manual tuning on his PC3 and had the 386 recall done after his PC3 and had not issues with his bike idling ( his current PC3 mapping does not work against the 386 idle download from Triumph)

So I am going to assume that the current 386 download that is in my bike will not be affected with the installation of the canned PC3 download from Dynojet.

I just don't want to have the PC3 download software affecting the 386 idle download from Triumph and vice versa
