That's interesting info on the Dobeck Skip. Mine must be an older one again as it has three screws. Really simple. It was cheap and I'm wondering if I was sold old stock. Anyway, it works and I'm very happy with it. One day I might 'upgrade' to a PCV 'cos the AT sounds great, but I still like the simplicity of the Dobeck.
I could very well be wrong Richard but when I was looking at the Dobeck early on I think I read that the newer ones had the screws

Oh by the way Skip I am not saying the Dobeck isnt good and if I had to choose between the PCIII and a Dobeck It would win hands down and I nearly bought one till I found out that PCV +AT would work with ALL the model years

Probally one of the things I like most is that mates used to say that when I gotinto it they could smell the unburnt fuel and now they say they can't:D

Well that's reassuring. Thanks mate. Rather the Dobeck was screwed than me! :D

Sorry to disappoint ya Richard,
the Generation 3.0 had the screws,
the Generation 3.5 had the buttons,
buttons on the generation 4.0 also.
so the PCV is probably better than the newest Dobeck,
if it automatically tunes as you ride.
That's an innovative feature that's a quality idea.
That makes me want to check it out....

Skip Skip Skipppp which rock you been hiding behind that's what I and others have been raving about it for the last 3 month or so now it is great and if you decide to get one you need to order it as though you have an 09 model because when they were developing it they used an 09 model and therefore list it for 09 onwards but as you know they all have the same ECU connections and that's what counts a couple us have each contacted DynoJet and gotten the same answer that yes it will work perfectly alright.
Anyway if you decide to get I have put together a map of AFR's to really make your bike really get up and boogey but still allows good fuel economy when just cruising

ok let me get this right I need to order the 09 pcv for my 2013 because it all hooks up the same ??? I am ordering it and auto tune Monday so I want to make sure got the tripel k&n yesterday and jardines will be here next Thur. man I can't wait to get them on :D:D:D:D:eek::eek:

Naw, Hans,
I can't see me ordering one, when Im already happy with what I've got.
it works good enough for me, cause I don't go over 135-140MPH
and only ride in the mountains once or twice a year.
If I change out my intake or exhaust, I'm perfectly capable of pushing a button.
But thank you my friend.
I'll keep it in mind in case Dusty Rose ever lets me do a mod or 2 on her bike.

Yes.. assuming the 2013 multi plugs havn't changed, I was told today by a dealership owner freind that Triumph hate' the PC' and the TB' systems and they are taking steps to protect the OE ECUs from Map modifications on the new range of models...

So consider your Warranty before you go overboard with mods :)
