Come on! There is nothing like the sound of a Harley V-twin. Nothing close. Sure, I love the sound of revving out my Carpentered R3 but my son's 100 inch Sportster has the sound of my R3 beat by a mile. The V-Twin with the 56 degree cylinder angle is the perfect sound formula and there is no shame in recognizing this!
Give it up!
:rolleyes:LOST CAUSE :D:D:D

Sound is subjective and no two folks will ever agree. I want to know where and how he splits the system? It does appear to be an equal length header design. One of the cleanest I've seen on here so far as far as the header piping goes. Too loud for me, but mufflers could be changed.

My my look at you old fools p!ssing in each others pockets!!

The best sound I've ever heard came from a Honda...a CT 110 carrying 30kg's of mail! Getting paid to ride around in the sunshine - music to my ears.....;)

MMMMM very interesting post not sure whether think you are borderline on being upset or trying to be smart but just so you understand I too have lots of Hardley owner mates and I stir them just as they stir me but at the end of the day we just laugh because WE ALL RESPECT EACH OTHERS CHOICE I particularly love calling the BMW's Sewing Machines, we All Ride Together and Drink together and We all belong to different Forums where we poke sh1t at other brands in other words WE ARE Just Having a SH1T STIR Buddy O'l Pal

Just stirring the pot, to see what comes floating to the top. I probably agree with you the most. Is it strange that my buddy's Harley not only says "Potatoe, Potatoe" it also smells like French Fries?

I rember I had a Yamaha Seca 750 that had a whole in the exhaust. It never sounded so good!

mr hunt,
Agreed! That would be the the sound - Ka-chink, Ka-chink - of easy made money dropping into your pockets.:D

Mad Scientist,
Don't know what crawled up your butt, Amigo . . . Oh, I now see you just be pot stirring.:D

I was once put on probation post filtering watch for a couple weeks on some other mickey mouse forum with way less censorship than this one. Go figure.

The BIG difference is I have found the folks here to be WAY less clicky, WAY more friendly, WAY not sensitive and generally WAY cooler! Including you!:D

This exhaust stuff is like arguing about what is the best song. An obviously worthless endeavor; but, fun to do nonetheless.:D
