Riding Motor Since 1950
That sounds so good because it's nothing like a V twin. It's the sound of turning petrol into power rather than petrol into noise.
Now, Canberra; are you honestly purporting that the Rocket sounds better than a good solid single pin crank V-Twin?
I have absolutely no argument regarding your "turning petrol into power" limerick. That is why I own and ride and love my R3R.
Has Triumph spent millions legally attempting to copyright the engine sound of a Rocket? Does every movie depicting a motor, even 2-stroke dirt bikes, dub in the sound of a Triumph Rocket?
My Rocket sounds good to me because I love riding it. However, from the pure esthetics of sound playing in the ear, the V-Twin rules. NOTHING motorcycle wise sounds better than a V-Twin.
I could be wrong; but, I doubt it. Perhaps a vote by all brand owners . . .
Remember - before you scream at me, sit back, close your eyes, take a deep breath of truly fresh OZ air to clear your head and BE OBJECTIVE with only your ears.
