if you have to change the chain you might as well contact Nev and spunk them cams up a bit I wish I did when I had her apart. But then came Carpenter racing and now I have a lot more money to spend on the head and cams.

I agree! Nev cams are sweeeeeeet! The only downside (both literally and figuratively) for me is, I was thinking it would make wheelies easier. NOT! The torque/hp both come on really fast. It is harder to raise the front wheel because there is a smaller window of opportunity before the rear tire breaks loose. Much like when the old 2 cycle dirt bikes reach their power band. But, what a great feeling!
 
It was at Baxters in Marne. Black frame hanging from the ceiling. Motor upside down on the floore under it with bottom case and heard removed. BF pistons. Very interesting to look in the guts of one of those massive engines. Not anything like when I worked on the old 650's. Insides look more like a John Deere.
