Dennis, you might be better off selling her (the bike) and buy a new R3 over there
I didn't want to say it cos I know you love your bike so much. But it sounds like the options are limiting. By the time you rebuild top end and put her back to standard and any sale price you can get for her plus import costs you would be well on the way to a new one.
Just saying mate.
 


Yes ,I was thinking the same thing. You will also save on the cost of of packing and shipping the bike
(I know your attached to the charcoal variety ,but you will soon learn to love the new black one,and after all black is like charcoal with all the white taken out)

I just hate being rail roaded, but when in Rome do as the Romans do as they say..
Like many of you guys conformity is not my favorite pass time, go your own way is

I did do the calculations and if I had facilities in Japan it wouldn't be a hassle..

Chrome bits wanted

If I decide to buy an R3 in JP I will remove all my extras and ship and recycle..

I would be looking for the OE rear guard left and right chrome trims.
These are generally removed to fit sissy bar mounts.

Triumph parts.. Front Chrome Engine crash bars.

Anybody got any?

Just askin at the moment
