I just got my bike home from the shop on tuesday this week after being in the shop for three weeks getting an oil leak fixed. The oil was collecting in the boot between the drive shaft and the out put shaft, which is acually the torsion shaft assembly , now she is leaking again, called sevice manager and told him , as you can imagine i was just a little pissed, but i kept my cool, i would rather them work with me than against me , he called triumph here in the USA and this time they are going to replace the whole torsion shaft assembly housing instead of the seal. i hope next time i have better results . the man from triumph USA said its probaby a bad bearing on the torsion shaft knocking the seal out. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. sorry for the long post

I've had the bad bearing but not the leak. Sounds like a plausible theory though.

Its a good thing they are gonna change the whole assembly.
That can be a problem with the Rocket, so it should give you peace of mind in the future, its just a shame about the down time, make em loan you a bike.

they are gonna do the warrenty paper work and then scheduale an appointment . the work shouldnt take more than a couple days

My dealer will give a loaner bike while they service, the problem is the loaner is a bonneville! Not that thats a problem but is sure isn't a rocket
