Oil Leak / Pinhole in block

Oh good Lord.
Anyway there was this one time in Subic City... :p

I loved Subic City, trike races from Olongapo to Subic City, feeding the driver pesos to go faster, even more pesos to stop at the Sari-Sari stores for more San Muguel.

Somewhere in my stuff, I think I still have a card from Maryilyns.

I would go back today, even if it killed me!!!

Hi Guy's,
Just saw this and had to let you know of my situation with my brand new Anniversary Speed Triple. It developed an oil leak from around the gearbox case area where the gear lever shaft comes out, but it wasn't coming from the shaft seal but above it and to one side.
I knew what the problem was and after some discussion with the dealers the bike was replaced in total as it was still well under warranty. The problem was it had a case of "porosity" in the casting and went undetected through assembly at the factory.
Basically the casting becomes porous during the molding stage due to a couple of factors which I won't go into but as said previously if handled in the right manner you should get a good outcome as did I. All the best with it. :)

Just joined your forum and found this thread. I have had my 2016 Roadster for about 2 weeks and guess what, mines leaking in the exact same place! Not a happy camper at all, just about to go see my dealer and make them aware of the issue. Don't want a replacement cyl. head as then I don't have a new bike anymore. I'll be showing them this thread and hoping for a similar outcome. Most disappointed as I love the bike.

ANY pics
First I heard/read of this "pinhole" phenomina.
To save me reading the whole thread, what was your outcome, Jimbo?
SO your getting a new bike NICE thats great

The bike has been back to the dealer no less than 6 times in 8 weeks, for idling issues, check engine light issues, throttle body adjustments and Stepper motor problems.

And now this?

I'm not exactly in the frame of mind to accept anything less than a new bike, fortunately my dealer is on my side and has been extremely apologetic and supportive.

I realize a new bike is a pipe dream, but I am interested to see how Triumph handles the problem
