SO your getting a new bike NICE thats great

I hope so. I sold two of my Harleys to buy a new bike. If they replace the head I no longer have a new bike I have a second hand bike with a new head in essence. My dealer agreed with this reasoning and I showed him this thread so he can quote it to Triumph.

That really sucks. After looking at this picture I went over my bike with a fine tooth comb, a magnifying glass, and a 100 watt light. So far so good.

I keep reading about all the problems people are having with the Rocket (even new ones) and feel very lucky. After 12,500 miles I have not had any problems at all. Actually the bike is running better now then it did brand new. I feel for those not so fortunate.
