MMMMMM!!! I wonder how many we could stuff inside the tyres and then tape them up

As a matter of interest I went onto the oil filter site and there was no oil filter listed for the Roacket, I then typed in the part number and it only indicated the filter for certain motor car use.

Is the filter shown in the first post a Rocket oil filter?

Oil filter

I use Mobile One P/N M1-110 on mine. Twelve dollars and some change. Made for synthetic oil and rates high in all of the oil filter tests I have read. Available at most automotive parts supply retailers.

The filter is about one inch longer, thus allowing more oil. The factory chrome can cover fits over the filter except for a "Non noticeable" 1/2" at the block side of the filter. What else can a guy want?

And no, the front tire does not hit the filter. Far from it.

I think you will find that there are lots of filters that are cross compatable as long as the fitting face and the thread size are the same and the oil capacity it can filter is the same or more (which is the case in fact it would allow better filtering as there is more filter material to soil before it will clog up, an interesting example for you is the filter for a Honda St 1100 is also the same as the filter for a Yamaha FJR 1300 yet are not listed as such

I used the M1-110 on my 05 ST1300 also. Worked great. In one of the filter tests I read, the tester stated the oil pressure by-pass valve specs were the same as most motorcycles, including the Rocket.

Hanso I can buy 12 of them right now for 95.99 thats 20% discount or 7.99 each. 12.15 USD each shiped. Since you have 10 already I think I am going to pull the trigger this morning.
