Oil Filter Equivilents...

Had my bike for a week and already 650 miles. I have always done my own tune-ups on my VTX as most of the stealers around here are very untrustworthy. I enjoy doing my own work anyways. I made an appointment this Saturday for the first check-up and I am now debating ab out just doing it myself. I called them to ask if they had an oil filter in stock and they said no, but they could get one in. Now what were they going to use for my bike on Saturday?

Anyways, my question is do I have to order a oil filter, crush washers and O-ring and wait another few days for arrival, or are there equivilents that I might find at other motorcycle shops... like Honda... Does anyone know?

Some where there is a post with a list of filters that will fit, some with the chrome cover, most without. If this isn't answered by the time I get home from work later today I'll try to track down the site again.
