Oil change

Thanks guys I just thought because I let her drain over night, like who does that so I thought that was the reason I need more oil. Well now I know not to let the dealer to change my oil again.
Spent all that money on a upgrade to a 20015 for a compleat clutch system even though I didn't need it , and all the upgraded parts that went with it, and they just wanted to give me what a 05 took.
But thanks to PAUL I got the up grade when the dealer said it wouldn't work. I don't think I'll ever make it as a mechanic but with you guys help makes it easier

That's not bad, a friend of mine got a new car with less than 200 miles on it. He changed the oil like you did, then briefly started it, in his words (to get all the old oil out) then he let all the air out of his tires so he could put fresh new air in it!!!! I told him that was The dumbest thing i ever heard, and he looked at me like I was stupid!!

For what it is worth the service manual says to fill the oil between the two lines on the dipstick. That is for a 2015 rocket roadster. It really is no big deal as stated earlier.

Well I'm almost there most likely half more of a liter.
Not too many places around here seem to sell Motul 10w40 100% Synthtic, looks like might need to go to the dealer and tak another 45 minute drive.
That's crazy even if I did do that I wouldn't tell any one lol

I usually run my bike on Ams oil can't go wrong with that. And then again I used the the Triumph, I would say what ever is on sale use.I think there all good

Any advice on which oil filter to use? I was thinking of using the Amsoil, with their branded oil.

My advice is stick with the Triumph filter. If you read about filters and pressure relief valves, it just not worth the grief to worry about how your filter is performing. Just my opinion...

I read somewhere on here (can't find it now) that the Amsoil filtered out micro particles, alluding to the point that, it benefits your engine and your lasts longer.
I called Performance Oils (the UK distributor) and they said the same. Superior filtering and superior oil stats/specs. That's why I was tempted. However, with the bike still under warranty, it begs the question, before delving into the 'Unknown'
