Oil change - that old chestnut again

You don't use the motorcycle specific Mobil 1?

This is what I use - I with they sold it in the big jugs, but a 6 pack is only $59.97:

I don't see any reason to. I read the reviews on it an a LOT of bikers are using it with good results.
Seems it has no friction modifiers so for $23 I will give it a try.

I just assumed it had all the friction modifiers and detergents and stuff that regular auto oil usually has.

Really, the big decision is between huge jugs and really nice cans.

Lol. Yes, both are good.

I refuse to use "motorcycle specific" oil. Marketing BS in my opinion. For 40 years I have used regular oil and never had any problems with clutches slipping. I even used to put STP in my old AMF Harley and ran it in my GS1150. The think I like about Triumph's design is that massive oil tank. It would be great if they had installed a sight gauge.

A bit like the success they have , particularly here in the US getting folks to believe they have to change oil far far more frequently than necessary.
