NOS with head porting

Plugs, the NGK standard or iridium tipped plugs in heat range 9 are a good choice. Do not run the iridium tips if you are getting detonation! The tips will eventually come off and the engine does not like these hard little tips going through it.

The Brisk silver core plugs (available from Nology dealers) allow a bit better output from the stock coils and plug wires when pushed hard. These work even better with a set of Magnacore wires. We sell all of the above.

The best octane boosters I have tested are ACES, and NOS brands.
In the UK, there is an even better one, but I have yet to find a way to ship it stateside... but still trying.

I hope this helps.
Yes, it does. Thx. I've been running Nology wires and coils on my VTX for years. Excellent. The Brisk silver cores I've not yet used. I'll try the boosters as well. Mahalo!

Skull Enterprises (SE) toys and NOS update

NOS project nearing completion and it's triple bad assed!!!! Blue LED clusters above engine NOS foggers (Two six LED clusters per). NOS fogger/purge in billet SE Skull where OEM horn previously was. Two more clusters recessed in both orbits. In the open jaws another large single red LED with jetting out both corners. NOS purge shoots ~ 4' on either side!!! Skull LED tail lights (SE again), new lithium ultra light weight racing battery, new 120db PIIA horn to replace sickly OEM trash, 2.5 lbs. polished nitrous bottle mounted above first exhaust header (Nitrous Express). Also removed tank, had three small dings repaired and the whole thing repainted black with custom blue "ghost flames" on the fore section. Had planned to purchase the TTS supercharger but there's no room for it now and I've gained 60 ponies with the NOS. Plan B: save up for Carpenter Racing 240 PAC this winter instead of TTS. May buy Carpenter's three into one header/pipe as well. Next week we spruce up the carbon fiber front fender I bought from Hombre with some fresh blue ghost flames to match the tank. Also underway: Ohlins rear shocks. The seat will come last...must be custom and must be blue stitched. This bike will rock! **** near as cool as the VTX! PIX TO COME SOON!!!!:D

P.S. Got a line on a new supercharger from a Jaguar that we're thinking of adapting to my Ford F-150! Happiness!:D

NOS is up and running

Near 200 hp. Fogger/purge super cool. LEDs above motor and in skull eye sockets. The blue button on the left side cover activates the purge/fogger. Switches for five LED clusters are on frame in front of side cover. New Cobra front tire slapped on to boot:)

NOS is up and running

Near 200 hp. Fogger/purge super cool. LEDs above motor and in skull eye sockets. Don't have badges back on yet after repainting and airbrushed blue ghost flames, also on the CF fender I bought from Hombre. Will be adding the Carpenter Racing header/pipe to replace TORs; much better than either Predators or Jardines. After that Ohlins shocks out back and perhaps the Carpenter 240 PAC over winter. >Might make it to 300 ponies if I play it right. :D The half claw is Carbon Fiber from Dubflush/Pete. I have his CF neck covers as well.

Carpenter exhaust

Talked to Art (Imfastoo) about the Carpenter Racing exclusive header/pipe. Polished version is 1,500 clams (chrome is more, brushed is less). When he ascertains ETA of next shipment I'll be adding a set to my demonic beast:eek: and scrap the TOR's. The TOR's are in perfect shape (or nearly so) so if anyone is interested shoot me an offer that's reasonable and they are yours. Guess I'll need to save up for the 240 PAC;)
