Air intake derestrict - not sure if this is what you're after but I believe it's common to unscrew the plastic inlet from the underside of the seat. (If you take the seat off and turn it upside down you'll see what I mean).

Dunno about down under but here in the US o A the data is on a tag on the headstock on the left side. GVW, tire pressure all that stuff for DOT. Just twist your head sideways and squint. Well if your old and blind like me.
