Ride
2013 R3T
Well the story is as follows, my wife decided to tick of an item from her bucket list, which was owning and riding a motorcycle. She purchased a Harley 883 Low, took the riding course and we worked with her to get her riding. Initially, I wasn't going to get a bike, I wanted to make sure it wasn't a phase. However my wife bugged, harassed, and INSISTED I purchase a bike. She wanted something we could do together, as she hates golf, and doesn't want to learn scuba diving. After searching around, we went to the dealerships, when I saw the R3T, I was all in. They marked it down $2000, and threw in all the extras free. Her immediate comment was she thought her bike was big, until I brought mine home. My hard-core Harley neighbors are astonished at the machine, all Harley riders do actually give it quite a bit of respect I might add. My favorite dig, is that people walk by all the Harley's in the row to get a closer look at mine, it's GREAT. I enjoy this machine, and now feel any other bike would be a step down for me.
SO, when I tell people the story that my wife MADE me buy a bike, nobody feels for me......but it's OK, LOL. cheers from Ottawa, Canada.

Welcome from Washington state.
My wife made me buy the Roadster... something about being cheaper than seeing a therapist. :)

I had to sweet talk my wife for at least 15 min before she gave in...Washing dishes for life seems a fair trade off!!

Welcome from Oklahoma:D

My GF told me if you want it go buy it:cool:

Lupe twisted my arm tooooooooo:eek:

My story is similar, except my wife has not learned to ride a bike... YET!

She did locate the one that I bought though.

Enjoy the Rocket.

I once saw an ad for a bike for sale that included as the reason for selling "apparently 'do whatever the *** you want' doesn't mean what I thought". Won't see that if you decide to sell! Well done and welcome aboard. Nice pair of 'his n her' bikes, by the way.

When I bought my bike, my wife and I were separated, I was laid off. I called her at work and said I'm buying a new bike, you might have to cosign. she said "OK", lol, that's all, honest. Back together and happy, she loves the Rocket.
