Hey everybody! I am a long time rider, but just purchased a 2018 R3R on closeout. It is my first Triumph bike. I always admired these bikes and found a good deal on one, so I grabbed it. Actually, it is on the east coast being shipped to me as I write this, so I haven't even been on it yet!
WELCOME to ya, Amigo, from WA State!
You have chosen well, both in motor and in forum! My 2012 R3R was purchased new with 0 miles and was also my first Truimph in my 56 years of riding road motors.
Old age, decrepit bones and joints forced me to give up sport bikes 14 years ago.
This motor is a godsend for oldies who still want to hoon and fang!!!
Take time to get used to the weight & power, then enjoy the rush!
