Not sure where "Ursus" is from but we've got "Ursus" in spades here in Alaska...all 3 types! Ursus Americanus=Black bear, Ursus Horribilis=Brown bear, and Ursus Maritimus=Polar bear. Notice the scientist aptly named the brown bear "Horribilis" I recon the land down under has a complete catalog of horrible things in bushes...it doesnt need any bears as heavy as a rocket. -Doug
