You must be old like me. I made what was possibly the last COD trap/launch on CV41 when it came back to the states for decommissioning. It was retiring and so was I.

After a couple of odd tours involving ship's company and shore duty I went into P3s for 13 years and finished up my career crewing VRC 30 CODs from 89-92. That's how I got out to all of the SoCal carriers during that time, including CV41 when it came back to the states for retirement.
