New 185 dollar fuel line every 5K?

Thanks guys! I called the dealer and talked to the owner...It is a corroded fuel rail and he will save it for me. He said it is the first one they have seen in a LOONG time and I do not know if this bike sat in a corrosive environ. As far as the seal on the Fork...He used a "Seal Swipe" (all greek to me) and will have the tech test it once the bike is back together.

The "Seal Swipe" is piece of plastic IMFASTTOO referred to earlier. If the seal is dirty but not torn it should solve leak.

PS - I've done this on the bike easily enough. Like the guy in the video says, you don't have to remove the fork from the bike.

I have used 35mm film strip or similar sized thickness plastic to clean fork seals. I remember seeing a video recently
on you tube I think.

You can cut an old credit card to do the exact same thing as the Seal Mate. Just push is under the fork seal and pull it all the way around so it cleans any gunk caught in there. Then pump the forks a bunch of time to set the seal. If it doesn't work, then it is new seal time.

Thanks guys for all the input....I assume if you don't have to remove the forks to replace it you would have to pull the front tire to get it over? Man... can imagine losing one of these at 18K miles.....
