neutral light not working

I usually disconnect my idiot light on purpose the thing is a waste of electrical power

I have a problem with Neutral light not Coming on. I taken the switch apart cleaned contacts and I noticed that brass pin on the selector plunger has seized in and is not coming out far enough to make a contact onto the switch, any ideas how to sort this out or get The pin out....

Have you cleaned the sensor that is what i done and it works hopefully it will work for you ...chaz
