need help with tuneboy

Sent one via convoy that will get you sorted. I have sent screenshots of the whole thing to Emma, hopefully they fix this.

Autotune, launch control, and quickshifting would be really nice on the big girl!
Yup thanks for tune man ,is a speedo corrected, how about restrictions 1st.2nd3rd. Secondaries open ? Didn't look at it yet ,im waiting for exhaust and have to disconnect PCV AGAIN! ! ! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP mabye I'll see u in Sturgis this year we drink milion beers:)

I sent you a PM with my email address :p

I really hope it does work, good god it would be nice to finally get this thing working as its supposed to!

First big thanks to Wilk for coming through where Tuneboy did not.

Second, while it is a working livetune, yay, I now have key issues. When using flashkeihin, I was never sent a password and the generated key I was sent does not work in flashkeihin, but works in tuneedit. It seems they are not the same keys as the tuneedit key is all letters where the flashkehinin wants a number.

Such is the circle of Tuneboy.

More ambiguity followed by more unanswered emails followed by more wishing horrible things on emma.

Seriously,
I have never, in my whole life, witnessed anything like the confusing trainwreck that is Tuneboy customer service, and remember, I am in the US military, the worlds biggest bureaucracy. If it weren't for the fact that I NEED the software to work on my bike eventually for the Carp kits I would totally just /delete and forget it ever exists happily.

Two separate keys for the same program, awesome, and not documented anywhere. I can't even begin to explain how stupid the whole key system is in the first place, but then it's compounded by the lack of any ability for the end user to do any troubleshooting on their own because they took all the download links off their webpage for some reason and put place holder 0kb files up instead of the actual tunes.

Emails to sales@tuneboy go unanswered, even with screen shots showing the problem, clear descriptions etc. Then, to get an answer, I have to post negatively on their facebook. The moment I remove the negative post... all communication stops.

I swear, every single time I get an email back, it's like getting it from a day 1 trainee. How could you not know that I would need the password when requesting the live tunes and include that with the "tune" (that doesnt work and is 397 bytes, not kilobytes, bytes in size) that she sent me? Why wasn't that sent as the documentation suggests on initial purchase? Why not include the password when sending out the v4 software to me?

Really, I just want it to work so I can stop even trying to communicate with them. Tuneboy is hands down, bar none, the worst company I have dealt with in my (fairly short compared to most here) 35 years on earth.

Question:
Can Carp tune using Tune ECU if having a 7K limit is OK?

Its not ok to only get a partial delivery on a contract, exactly what 7k RPM limit with carp kit would be and exactly what Tuneboy has done so far.

In the business world its breach of contract, in the consumer world, its "get wrecked consumer".

That is the problem, I fulfilled my end of the contract (paid), they haven't fulfilled theirs (deliver a working product).
