need help with tuneboy

OK your tune edit is having problems but the tune boy dash is what you open to check error code and run diagnostic test not tune edit. Now that being said you should be able to open the tune with tune edit and not hooked up to the bike if it does not recognize the tune with tune edit then you probably do not have the right tune if it is a normal tune if it is the custom multi trim style map Tune Boy would make it so only your tune edit will open it on your specific ECU and no one else. That set is 500 bucks or so and employs a wireless link up made in conjunction with the wide ban O2 controller from Innovate.
Ok i got P1614 ECM or tune ID incorrect code

ECM or tune ID Incorrect Instrument ID Matching Flashing (engine light) is what I have in the manual I have but does not contain the roadster. I am guessing this was a touring thing first since the ecu and mapping was similar. It sounds like your not even linked up. Just in case compare your password that tune boy sent you to whats in TUNE Edit. Also just in case it got altered by accident.
You can if you want send me the map and I will try to open it.

If it's the newest TuneBoy and Windiws7, I doubt you will get it to work without disabling Anti-Virus protection.
I went problems, then went to a dedicated laptop that I only use for tuning. Coincidentally HP Tuner that I use on my cage vehicles would not work either with Norton installed.
I completely removed Norton and both work fine now. For some reason Norton always managed to disable both just a little quicker than I could get a tune loaded.

Also TuneBoy will not recognize any tune that has been touched by Tune ECU.

it is very hard to connect to ECU, it seems that the only way to make it work is to do it in certain order, but once I'm on and vehicle light on TuneBoy is on I downloaded every map from the Roadster folder. Every map looked like a successful download but after " circle ignition off and on and press any key to reconnect" message, my bike didn't start and the "check engine" light was blinking. Before I did all that, I disabled McAfee antivirus. I don't know much about it but to me looks like I flushed OEM base tune 020685. If I could get it back, would solve my problem. Also "recover from failed download" wasn't highlighted so I couldn't use that option.

Did your tune boy install not come with a load of maps? Like stock ones and various basic mods ones for all kinds of bikes
