My headlight mod

Ok for what it worth saw it while still at work this morning and said mmmmmmmmmmm that's different in a nice kinda way but!!! I just used my electric pencil on one of your pictures and here is what I would change 1 get someone with a laser cutter to put Our R3 in the middle and round off the corners the pointy corners are a little tacky, while I can't see the two top corner I'd probally round them of too.
I really like the triangle light they are awesome, just the back plate needs a little bit of charactor but otherwise Bloody Cool Mate!!:D

Skip,

Rounded corners as in the "Triumph Made in England" triangular badge on the crankcase would be the only alteration I'd make.

Mal the Kiwi.

PS. Do you have a scan of the grill insert that looks so cool on your Rocket?? I have found a guy with a water jet sheetmetal cutter.

No I don't think I have a picture of just the grill insert,
but I do know an ole boy who can make you a "one off" of about anything you want.
He's a fireman and has the firemans maltese cross on his.
Lonzol.
If you PM him with any idea you may have, I'm sure he CAN do it,
whether he has time or not is another thing, but he's sure got his Blackie RIGHT....

I think you can get one from flipmeisters mate.

Skip i really like the originality of your beast
it does look like some sort of monster but the r3 is a monster ;)
not really my thing but i still like it and the passion that has gone into it
good onya mate it definatly is original. the rear fender really compliments the darkside tyre and the machine as a whole looks like it came straight out of a mad max movie:cool: 1 of a kind thumbs up from me

Ya know, that's a good idea HansO.
Maybe a cutout and backlit with some leds????
Hmmmmmmm...
Thinkin' the rounded corners might have something to offer too,
it is a little pointy ain't it?
Thanks, and glad to see you're getting the hang of your new pencil..;)

Thanks Mitch.
It's a work in progress,
I hope someday it's good enough for a calendar spot...

yeah RED LED's cos black wouldn't have a show ...... to slow:D

Why you want to ruin a good looking motorcycle for man??

I would be afraid I would have a wreck and get impaled by that sissy bar. I don't think that would be something that could be removed without surgery. lol

Got to say Skip the jury is still out.

I didn't like it at all the first time I looked at it but the more I see it the more I like it. :)

Kind of an acquired taste I guess.
