Well, this is what I've gone and done now.
I'd like to hear your responses and opinions on it.
Either Pro or Con, it doesn't matter, just your honest opinions.
like it, or think it looks like a monster praying mantis?
I still have to get the bracket powder coated, so take that into account,
but what do ya'll think so far.
Thanks for looking and giving me your opinions.

I think you need a plate under the kickstand. Otherwise I like the triangular theme. You need to change the instrument cluster to something more angular to complete the effect. 2 pennies worth. Nice work.

the sharp angles of the set up contrast dramatically with the rounded shapes all around this bike, to mix both gives a sense of unfinished project bike either modify fenders gas tank , side cover etc etc or go back to rounded shape .

seems odd as it is. again IMHO.

Momma told me if I can't say anything nice ...... LOL ;)

The visibility is going to be great, and it will for sure draw attention. I would have stopped at two but three does go along with the triple theme and the Triumph triangle.

Appreciate the comments so far guys.
Thanks.
I realize it's "different, but as most of my "mods" are, it just follows suit.
Not much "bolt on" accessory stuff on my bike.
Just the triple K&N's and everything else is one off.
I knew some wouldn't like it, that's ok, I do.
It's "different" and if I wanted to be like everybody else, I'd still be riding harleys..
Triumphs motto of GO YOUR OWN WAY pretty much sums up how I feel about things.
And adding a touch of individuality to my bike is what makes it "mine" instead of like 10,000
other black rockets.
We all change something, the bearclaw, the filters, the tune, the tire,
something we like better than the way she was stock.
I just thought the two round headlights were lacking something,
it is a triumph triple after all.......
thanks for the comments, I hope to see more.
ya'll ride safe,

I have modified the fenders, and have the gas tank at the fabricators right now,
extra gas tank I mean, but that's another project for another thread.
But the fenders aren't stock.
Here's a picture of my rear fender.
Don't have a good one of the front as it's still a work in progress,
or as you said a "project bike", but here's the rear.

This had the old taillight on it, and it wasn't painted yet,
but this picture is over two years old,
so as you can see, my bike IS a project bike.
Thanks for noticing, i'll try to get newer pics to post.

Praying Mantis is right Skip and at first glance wasn't to sure
But taking a bit of time I seem to like it in some strange way, just like the first time I saw the R3T :D
Only thing is do you not think Hardly riders are scared enough  when they see a Rocket up their ( Let's be polite about this ) Rear;)

:bch:

Skip,

Rounded corners as in the "Triumph Made in England" triangular badge on the crankcase would be the only alteration I'd make.

Mal the Kiwi.

PS. Do you have a scan of the grill insert that looks so cool on your Rocket?? I have found a guy with a water jet sheetmetal cutter.
