Yes Tdragger the boats going to Tasmania are ferries and most the rest would be barges. Other Aussies might have different opinions but that's what we call them around here. The cross river one's controlled by cables are called ferries too.

West Oz is very much like Texas, except for those giant ant mounds and Dugite snakes hiding in the strawberry fields...
