will they fit right up or do you have to do some mods to it I'll looking for a new set for the r3t and these look good I will get the chrom as I got chrome on the bike

they come with a complete set of different adapors for various bikes (I used the double ended bolts which were the only logical choice) which screw straight in the stem and then just use the same collars that the triumph mirrors leave behind in your brake and clutch brackets they feel like they are going to be lose but once you put the nuts on and tighten them they are solid and have less vibration than the teardrops I had on before.....big improvement in my opinion and no fiddling or Mods required

yeah I have seen these ones before when I was looking, remember I told that there are cheap knock offs out there well that is one of them the stem is a std single rod and the mirror heads are Plastic as opposed to the Kuryakyn ones that I have which are all metal with the twin forearm bone stem a the fingers extend right the way around the mirror head they even come in All Black version for those that don't like Chrome

We have a lot to do over the next few months so I will drop in when I can, got most info to ship the R3 as you would suspect that was the first job on the list, dealer is going to keep an OE shipping case for me for a carton lol reminds me of the old days. so by the end of the year I will be looking for ice stud tyres

Yea when I said less vibration I should have said None as I just been up to Canberra and even over some rough bit they remain clear to look thru no vibs at all, The trip up was to get a new helmet and while Richard had offered me a Shoei at a bloody good price I am not the right head shape and I want something a bit brighter after the last couple of helmets have been black or dark colours and I want a proper full face even thu I love my Shark Evoline Flip up it is like all flip ups very noisy so after looking at Arais and other none seem to fit quite right every where then I saw this bright red and clear coated Shark I tried it on and wow it was a perfect fit the model is "Shark Race-R PRO Carbon" unfortunitly the other colour versions are not yet available here in Auss only the black, the white and the red versions were available and as luck would have it they just happened to have a Red in my size .... meant to be I reckon

With your extra tall screen you probably never get wind turbulence try taking it of as you were talking about the other day and see what it is like I also have a touring screen and it will probably be fairly quiet with this new helmet, I have my fly screen on at the moment and it offers no win protection except maybe a little less wind pressure on the chest, I have ridden with out a screen and I had just as much turbulence then as I do with the Fly screen.
Flip up are noisy because (as best I can work out) due the overlap and hinged area causes more turbulence over the surface of the helmet even a fixed helmet can be noisy if they large venting ports I had a BMW air tech helmet a few years ago but if you closed the vents to make it as quiet as they claimed you got no air at all and would probably suffocate I threw it away because even with the vent open it was stifling hot in there, other helmets I have had were noisy regardless of whether you have the vent open or closed shoei is reported to be the quietness helmet out there these days but this new Shark is remarkably quiet if you keep the main vents closed and allow the ultra deep internal air channels do their work it will draw the air up and you can feel it cooling your forehead mind that is as long as you don't have the cold weather neck draft in the open position I rode home from Canberra withe main vents closed and only the little forehead open, it was not a stinking hot day but was still fairly warm and I never got uncomfortable in 160km, yep I think this will keep me happy for a while
