Theres also a video somewhere of a German guy showing how to remove the secondaries, but I can't find it.
Anyone know where it is and can post it?

yes they are the first set you see when looking down the throttel bodies

To answer the dawg's primary question about derstricting gears 1-3, the simplest, easiest and least expensive way to do so is with the GiPro, although, in the long run that may not be the the best route to go should he want to extract more power from our bounteous powerplant. Nevertheless the Healtech product will let the dogs out in the lower, timing retarded/restricted gears and it will also provide him with a much easier to read and reference gear indicator than the dinky one on the R3R's instrument cluster, plus it is very easy to remove the GiPro down the road should he want to go horsepower hunting.
