I wanted to change out the round mirrors to tear drop. Before buying new mirrors - I took an extra pair of chrome Honda VTX mirrors and checked fitment of the mirror(s) to the Triumph mirror arm/stem, it threaded right on. A little prep work and black satin paint with matte clear finish produced the color, look, and better "rearview" I wanted. (I left an edge of the chrome in front, I liked the highlight) The Honda mirrors are a basic parts bin mirror found on many of their bikes. Easy switch for the cost of paint.

Well I called a friend of mine who owns the VTX I sold mine and the mirrors went with it but he's got a set of stock mirrors for a VTX thank you very much for the information I'm going to give it a try.

I kind of like the VTX mirrors cuz they're cheap, but they're made well they were good mirrors on my VTX and they look good. I want to give them a try. The pics @BlackjackIII posted look good. If I don't like them I'll get in touch with you. Thank you sir
