I am 5ft 7 as well. I put lowered rear shocks and cut the original seat. I do have the higher rear tyre but with that my feet were flat and a slight bend to my knees. I also have the 140 front tyre on the 2006 classic. The maverick seat gives me more of a bend in my knees. Feel very firm footed. I may even go the 130 tyre next for agility after good reviews from a couple of the guru's here (Imfasttoo and TriumPhil) I do not have ABS as I heard it is not good with the smaller front tyre.

All true, Scorp! The Michelin Commander II 140/75 17 is another excellent choice for the front, too.

Shame that others were scammed by that asshat owner of Maverick.. He should reap the whirlwind from a group of angry R3 owners... perhaps some of our British brethren could see that justice is served?
