Manifold/headers

Hi all you R3 guru's

I have a 2004 Classic R3 and have bought a manifold (header) from a later bike - unsure of year.

Are they all interchangeable? If not what are the differences?
 
Headers are all interchangeable,it's only the sliencers that are different.

FYI - If you have an 04 it's a Standard, not a Classic
And what Kipper said......
 
there are no ''04''rockets ,although bikes were sold in04 these bikes were all 05 models

Always the point of contention. My compliance plate says '04 but the bike is an '05. Sometimes gets confusing when describing it ..... I just take it for granted that its an "'04/'05" Rocket ... as stated .... there were no other models back then.
 
im thinking this 04-05 thing is different in other parts of the world. but in the usa market even bikes sold in june,july of 04 were sold and titled as an 05 model. got mine In july 04 but its an 05.
 
Mine is definetly an 04. I just assumed that as it was one of the first it had been called a Classic - As it should have been.
