Makes you Proud to be an Aussie

On Saturday just gone, at Karrinyup Shopping Centre (yes, Western Australia) the Variety Club Youth Choir organized a FLASH MOB where they all were incognito in the Food Hall, and started standing up in groups singing "We are Australians"

The purpose was to raise money for the QLD floods. Each time it is clicked on, money is raised thru google ads, SO PLEASE WATCH!!!!!! It is a beaut way of suppporting those poor ozzies over on the other side of our country.

Even though I am 100% Scottish I love this song, and I if I could would vote on it for the Australian National Anthem, Bruce Woodley and Dobe Newton should be proud, also love hearing Judith Durham sing it, it brings a tear to these hard eyes.

Great song, isn't it? Always gives me goose bumps. I'm a total conservative when it comes to the flag and our constitution (ie I'm a constitutional monarchist, as opposed to being a fan of that family of dribblers) but I'd happily change the national anthem to something meaningful and moving like that.

does me I watch it twice and twice it did it not just the song but the pride of being an Aussie and seeing a bunch of young people and kids do it, I just had to share it with you all

I'm sure hes still alive not sur if he has done a version and Last I heard he was living in the UK then I might be wrong He was a Westralian (resident of Western Austalia) when I was a Kid, I was too
